Coupons can go a long way towards mitigating some of the high costs of diapers. When diapers are too expensive, coupons can make them more affordable. And when diapers are more affordable because they are on sale somewhere, you can use your coupons to make them downright inexpensive.
First, though, you have to find the free diaper coupons. Here are some ideas to help you find those coupons:
1. Manufacturer’s Websites
Check out the website of your favorite brand of diapers. Sign up for their mailing lists. Before you know it, you’ll be getting emails with coupons for various different products made by those companies.
2. Mother’s Groups
When you have your baby, be sure to join a support group. You can learn a lot from the experiences of other mothers. In addition, you’ll sometimes receive a “welcome” package that includes coupons and samples of different baby products.
3. The Sunday Paper
There’s a reason why clipping coupons out of your Sunday paper is so traditional: it works. While you’re on your hunt for diaper coupons, don’t neglect the most basic coupon source around. Check out those glossy coupon inserts, as well as the coupons in the ads for drugstores like CVS or Walgreens.
4. The Blogosphere
There are plenty of blogs out there that are designed simply to pass along great deals or coupons its readers find. Running a quick search on Google can reveal all types of sources for printable coupons.
5. Friends and Family
Finally, don’t forget to tell your friends that you’re looking for diaper coupons. Tell them what kind you like and ask them to keep an eye out for them. Your grandma may not need the Huggies coupon in her newspaper, but she might clip it out for you. You could even trade coupons with other moms who prefer different diaper brands.
